Equinox Art Show

Since my first post, I was honored to receive a notable mention at a local Art Fair, run by The Peach for their Spring Equinox Show. It was a lot of work preparing my art and booth, but the recognition was well worth it.

Aside from finding fabric- measuring, cutting, sewing and adjusting. I also took the time to make a chandelier as the lighting and centerpiece. Thanks to DIY YouTube, this light set up was realized in under a week. When I told my husband what the project was- he looked at me like I was crazy “a chandelier?”.

Since my work and aesthetic leans towards the gothic, I wanted a tent that kept that personality without scaring people away.

It all worked out in the end- even though I got in late for set-up.
